“the most emotion-packed scene is the one which dramatizes Clemente’s reaction to the death of Martin Luther King in 1968.  Red lighting by Joseph R. Walls bleeds up the back wall as ensemble member Jase Parker slowly walks singing, “Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child.”
